Third Reich Cover for Ausweis

This black outer protective cover for the Ausweis is in excellent condition, and as a bonus contains a period photograph of the soldier to whom,presumably, this item belonged. Front cover is adorned with an outstretched wing eagle in gold clutching a wreathed swastika with the words " Wermacht Ausweis" beneath it, also in gold lettering, the whole surrounded by a gold coloured border. This front cover is stiffened, whilst the rear is soft with the look and feel of imitation leather. An interesting and uncommon item.
