Landjahr were a branch of the hitler youth which in provided agricultural assistance in Germany's eastern provinces. The organization was first founded in 1924 and was known as the Bund Artam, renamed Landdienst der Hitler Jugend in 1934.

Both boys and girls could choose to spend time working the land. It was compulsory however for students to complete a LandJahr prior to graduation from university.

Excellent matching set having lions head buckles marked to the reverse with the “M in a square” casters mark. Highly detailed heads show only minor signs of wear. All spring clips functional. Another fine set matching in every detail. Lions head buckles marked with the six dot pattern to the reverse. Gilding all complete and with the aluminium regain chain and hook firmly attached. Moire straps show no wearing time, all springs clip working perfectly.
