Viktor Lutze (28 December 1890 – 2 May 1943) was a German Nazi Party functionary and the commander of the Sturmabteilung ("SA") who succeeded Ernst Röhm as Stabschef and Reichsleiter. After Lutze died from injuries received in a car accident, he was given an elaborate state funeral in Berlin on 7 May 1943.

One of the items found in the Princess Mary Christmas Gift Tin, this example is exceptional in that the pencil section is what appears to be a custom made propelling pencil. Perfectly fit to the “crown over M” cartridge case, the mechanism is a masterpiece of miniature engineering, and still operates perfectly.

Excellent tin which has tarnished to be almost black in appearance. Containing a “bullet pencil” with a correctly marked shell case, and a miniature 1914-18 war medal. There are no markings on the rim of the medal as is correct for miniatures.

Third Reich Police Officers Sword Knot

This is the “Grosse” size, period original portepee having a wider than normal leather strap and wider oval acorn having a base stuffed with silver red and black springy wire. Strap has some minor snags to the aluminium wire but is very supple and would re attach to a sword hilt without difficulty.  read more

Die stamped, steel buckle by RZM 36/42 (Overhoff & Cie Lüdenscheid) and stamped with SS runes in a double circle. Minor rusting to the reverse. Black leather belt has no markings and is a small size. Leather sound with no loss of stitching.  read more
