To be worn on civilian clothing to recognise service in the Reichsarbeitsdienst, this superb shield shaped badge contains the RAD emblem of spade and wheat-sheaf in black upon a white background, the whole surrounded by a red border.
Excellent enamelling and marked to the reverse with RAD triangle and maker mark "B.S.W." Needle sharp barley twist pin.
