German Lifesaving Society Stickpin-Silver

"Deutsche Lebensrettungsgesellschaft" or "German Life Saving Association" stickpin in Silver. Founded in 1913, the DLRG is still in existence and very much active today.
This pin could be worn by those who had successfully qualified for the DLRG's leistungsschein or Advanced Level Qualification Certificate for licenced lifeguards.
In excellent condition having a knurled, needle sharp attachment pin.
The pin was also available in Bronze and Gold.
