Teardrop Sword Hanger

A very well made adjustable length sword hanger, being of brown leather with no evidence of there ever having been a protective felt backing. A metal bobbin is fixed to the upper part of the teardrop allowing a strap containing a Spring clip in its lower loop to be positioned in several different slots, allowing quite a large adjustment in length. Excellent quality leather and stitching, minor loss of surface finish to unmarked Spring clip, bobbin and upper box type clip. Rare accoutrement in this quality.
