Long Dress Bayonet-Distributor Marked-Pack

This long dress bayonet is unusual in that it is marked on the obverse Ricasso to a distributor-"A. Seysen Bamburg"
Crossguard, backstrap and pommel are in good condition with some minor loss of finish and age signs. Rifle slot has a green felt filling, pommel push button operates correctly. Chequered grip plates are in fine condition and are held by the offset screw arrangement typical of Pack, whose maker mark may be found on the upper reverse Ricasso. Bright plated blade is in near mint condition and has a needle like tip. Scabbard paint is near perfect to the reverse, and missing only in a very small area to the obverse which would be covered by an appropriate frog.
An excellent example of a distributor marked bayonet.
