Long Pioneer Bayonet -Eickhorn

So called "pioneer" bayonet having a rounded crossguard without finger guard. Pommel crossguard and backstrap suffering from a degree of corrosion to the metal. Fine chequered grips correctly riveted to hilt. Plain plated blade in fine condition with the usual "in and out " marks and with the Eickhorn 35-41 trademark stamped to the upper reverse Ricasso beneath the blade washer.
Scabbard is an unusual anodised version having some signs of old surface rust but no dents or damage.
