Third Reich Penal Official Belt, Buckle and Cross Strap-Strafanstaltsbeampte
A very rare and complete type 1 rig for the Penal Institution Administration Official consisting of a superior quality leather belt stamped "100" and complete with the keepers and belt loops, mint condition gold finished buckle and matching cross strap.
This strap has twin decorative lines running its length and is marked "RZM L2-432/99" and "Kernstück". Complete with pebbled push clips which are "D.R.G.M." and "UE24" marked.
Belt has matching decorative lines and is complete with the inner tongue having seven sets of holes enabling length adjustment. Gold finish buckle features the Prussian national emblem of an eagle clutching a sword in its right talon and arrows in its left. The Eagles head faces to its left and has a mobile Swastica on its chest. The eagle sits on a domed pebbled field surrounded by a full laurel leaf wreath with a crossed ribbon at its base. Unmarked but identical to Assman and Söhne item number 22470.
A very rare and complete rig in the best of condition showing very few signs of wearing time.
