Third Reich D.R.P. Marked Bayonet

This unusual bayonet, originally issued to the Deutsches Reiches Post, is stamped D.R.P. to the reverse ricasso (partially obscured, possibly due to re-assignment).

No damage or other signs of misuse to backstrap, crossguard or pommel, which is waffenampt marked. Operating mortice button. Nicely toned wooden grips. Mint blade retains 99% of its bluing. Marked “43asw” to the reverse ricasso. Obverse ricasso marked “5068”. This number is repeated on the scabbard obverse above the log.

Short dress bayonet having SS Kulturzeichen stamped to the upper obverse ricasso.
