Third Reich Frog-D.R.P. Marked

One of the rarest of the frogs having a metal backing to the shoe section which is stamped "D.R.P." Some controversy exists over this stamping, some saying it relates to the German Postal Service, while others insist it is the Reich Patent mark. Whatever the truth this is an original example of a rare variant in very good condition. Some wear to the shoe section and its lug hole, but most of the patent finish remaining to the majority of the leather elsewhere.
