Third Reich A.D.A.C. Plaque
Original, brass, circular plaque some 3 inches in diameter. Dated July 1st 1928, and issued by the General German Automobile Club (ADAC) the plaque commemorates a disaster relief exercise attended by the TENO organisation.
Maker marked to the lower edge, the plaque is precisely cast and superbly finished.

Higher Leaders of the TENO wore caps having insignia consisting of Laurel leaf wreaths made from hand-embroidered gold-coloured wire, or gold-coloured metal versions such as this.

Third Reich TENO Leaders Cockade and Laurel Leaf Insignia
Prior to 1935, TN members simply wore a national tricolour rosette. A machine-woven national tricolour rosette was also worn on the 1936 version of the Field Cap.
At an unknown time, the Wehrmacht style oak leaves wreath was introduced to complete the cockade and leaves combination.

Cardboard badge, double sided, some 1.5 inches square, commemorating a specific event: “Tag der Deutschen Polizei” (day of the German police) held on then14-15 February 1942. Complete with the original suspension string.
Cardboard Tinnies have not survived well, and to find one sponsored by the Technische Nothilfe in this mint condition is a very rare find indeed. read more
