Third Reich Single Etch Long Dress Bayonet-Distributor Marked

Pommel, backstrap and crossguard in good condition with only minor areas of loss of finish mainly to the obverse. Pushbitton operating correctly, green felt insert remains within the rifle slot. Chequered grip plates are in perfect condition and are retained by domed headed rivets. Obverse blade has the service commemoration motto etch "Zur Errinnerung an Meine Dienstzeit" beneath the wings of an eagle. Etch is in excellent condition being sharp and without runner marks. The distributors name and location is placed on the obverse upper ricasso, being "E.Frenzel Berlin C2". A black leather blade washer is present beneath the crossguard. Scabbard retains all its black finish showing typical age feathering beneath the surface.
