WW2 Kriegsmarine Divers Knife

An excellent period example of what has become an incredibly rare knife. Having waffenampt stamps to both blade and body to confirm its use during the third reach period, the overall condition is quite exceptional.
Brass grip retains its rubber sealing ring and black finish between the turned rings. Blade is not maker marked but is likely to me a Henckels product. Minor signs of age and use to the bright blade but no damage to the cutting edge. Tubular brass scabbard has minor signs of use as a hammer to the base but otherwise is in perfect used condition. Both screw threads on knife and scabbard are in perfect condition allowing the knife to fit to the scabbard correctly.
A very difficult example to find, missing from most collections.
