Third Reich Army Officers Dagger-Personalised

This army dagger is in the best of condition having all its factory applied darkening to pommel, ferrule and crossguard eagle.
Outstanding definition to the standing oak leaf and acorn depictions on the pommel, which has no damage to the periphery. Crossguard eagle clutching a wreathed swastica has no wear to the highlights and excellent detail to the birds breast and wing feathers. The reverse crossguard has the name “LEITZ” professionally engraved to the centre. A leather blade washer remains in place beneath the crossguard. Bright blade has much crossgrain remaining and has no damage to tip or edges. There is no maker mark. Scabbard is perfectly straight having no dents or loss of finish, and with domed throat fixing screws present in the sides. Stippling to the panels is still sharp and the detailed scabbard bands are securely attached.
