The inscription “Technische Nothilfe” is in silver grey Fraktur script on a black rayon blend background with silver grey piping along the top and bottom. Some minor fraying to the top and bottom edges and to the short ends.

The German patent mark “Ges.Gesch.”, and the makers initials “H & F” are similarly woven into one short edge. An excellent example of a “name only” erased Röhm dagger by the best of makers.
Solid nickel crossguards have deep accent grooves, the lower having the gau marking “Fr” to the centre reverse face. Fruitwood grip has no damage and beautiful grain in the surface.
