Third Reich SS Dagger/Sword Hanger

A teardrop shape black leather hanger having a black painted spring clip sewn in. Included in the clip is a black painted metal ring enabling a chain dagger (or honour dagger?) to be attached. Leather in fine condition if a little stiff with age, 50% of paint remaining to clip.
Rare accoutrement.
