Third Reich SA Dagger-Hörster

Superb dagger which has clearly never been apart, having a perfect grip to crossguard fit and unturned pommel and fitting screws. Beautiful fruitwood grip has correctly inset Runes button and highly detailed political eagle. This dagger clearly illustrates the “using up of parts” in the factory, as this example is fitted with a nickel upper crossguard and a plated lower one. Blade grades mint having only the usual “in and out” marks, full crossgrain and a needle point tip. The RZM marking M7/36 is etched to the upper reverse ricasso. Factory scabbard dark brown enamel is perfect with only the most minor of spidering demonstrating its age. Plated fittings are in excellent condition, the lower ball having no dents at all.
Fine example very difficult to upgrade.
