Third Reich Hunting Knife-WKC

Although unmarked, this knife appears in the pre war WKC album as “Standhauer Nr. 21”. Pommel, ferrule and crossguard in mint condition. Stag grip is generously cut having deep grooving and pleasing brown hues. A red felt washer remains beneath the crossguard. Plated blade has an incredibly sharp sawtooth back and is mint. Brown leather scabbard has twin decorative lines to the obverse and reverse and a join running up the reverse. Further decorative leather is wound about the central scabbard area. Upper and lower scabbard fittings are perfect, the upper having a stylised acorn as a frog lug.
Superb piece in a remarkable state of preservation.
