Third Reich TENO Honour Badge-1919

This mint condition badge sits within an original issue case constructed of a light wooden frame with a black faux leather exterior covering , the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted cream velvet medal bed. The push button/spring clip closure operates perfectly. A non matching issue number of “1286” is visible to the base of the case.
Constructed of gilded tombak, the obverse consisting of a central enameled Technische Nothilfe (Technical Emergency Corps/TeNO) insignia in the form of a red enameled square overlaid by an enlarged black mobile swastika, in turn inset with a silvered cogwheel surrounding a hammer covered by a letter “N”. These enamelled components sit on top of a cogwheel on top of a diamond-shaped starburst, overlaid at the bottom by a banner bearing a date of “1919” with clusters of oak leaves emanating from each side. The whole is topped by a TeNo-style German national eagle. The reverse has a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch. Reverse is stamped with a low issue number of “647” and “Ges.Gesh. The pin is stamped with the makers name “ WILHELM FÜHNER, PFORZHIEM”,
