Third Reich SS Dagger Vertical Hanger

Fine example of the locally manufactured leather hanger enabling the dagger to be worn in a vertical position more suitable for marching or field exercises. Made from several pieces of initially brown leather, period stained black for SS use. The local artisan has clearly used several rivets as well as stitching to ensure the integrity of this piece! Leather quite hard and moulded to the shape of the dagger over the years, and ready to be put on another. Superb accoutrement with much historical and social interest.
