Third Reich Army Dagger Hanging Straps

For those that collect the myriad different versions of these hangers, this set comes from the early days of manufacture, when all the fittings were brass based, then silvered. Lower spring clips are particularly interesting, being the push in type having multiple components riveted then finished. Buckles and slides are brass with a silver wash as is the upper box clip, however this finish has now mostly gone revealing the detail it was possible to bring to the brass base metal. Straps are still serviceable but showing much wartime wear to both obverse and reverse.
