Third Reich Etched Dress Bayonet-Distributor Marked

Short dress bayonet having the typical “in memory of my Service Time” etch to the obverse blade. A very deep etch featuring a central open winged eagle clutching a wreath with swastica in its talons flanked by acorn and oak leaf patterns. Obverse ricasso stamped “E. Frenzel Berlin,C2” with “Solingen” stamped to the reverse. Operating push button with finely chequered grips. Blade washer in place beneath the crossguard. Scabbard may have been repainted many years ago.
