Made from "Alpaca" (nickel silver) this vintage cigarette case is one of three obtained from a house clearance in Germany, and has a circular inset containing a colourised photograph of a young man in uniform and a young lady (wife, girlfriend,sister?). Dutch NSB Commemorative Medallion for German Sympathisers

This medallion measures 40 mm and is struck in fine bronze. The obverse has a swastika at the centre, with a wolf hook, or wolf's angle, over it. Third Reich Day of work" Tinnie

This tinnie is of the usual aluminum construction and is oval in shape.
At the top edge of the tinnie are the words “Tag der Arbeit” which is positioned over three men. One has a hammer over his shoulder, another is working with paper, and the third carries a stalk of wheat. The men appear over a Party eagle and a swastika, and the date of “1935” which flanks the talons of the bird.
