An excellent example of late war straps which still retain their stiffness when held horizontally. Plain upper box clip, lightweight buckles and slides retaining good definition to the oak leaf and acorn decoration. Lower clips are the pebbled "push-in" variety. Interesting frog being considerably longer in the belt loop section than the norm. Of four rivet construction with supplementary stitching to the edges and to the shoe section. Leather in good condition with some minor cracking around the lug hole in the shoe. read more

Nice quality frog of dark brown/black leather, having stitching to the edges which has come loose only at the top edges of the shoe section. No damage to the lug hole in the shoe. The relatively small dimensions of this frog would make it ideal for "Waffen Loesche" forestry bayonet. read more
