Produced between 1915 and 1926, by the Eastman Kodak company in Rochester New York, this “vest pocket” Autographic Camera was popular with soldiers during WW1 and became known as the “soldiers camera”. Featuring an “Autographic” system which allowed photographers to write directly on the film, it became known as the “vest pocket” as it was designed to fit into the waistcoat pocket.

WW1 “Trench Art”

A most unusual example of the items produced primarily by troops using waste items available to hand in the trenches. This is a large copper serving platter or wall decoration, some 15 inches in diameter, having British soldiers, and the date 1918, in relief.
