Third Reich Municipal Police Bayonet-Distributor Marked
A fine example of a “cut down” bayonet bearing the name “Heinrich Brecht, Munster” on the reverse ricasso. Origins of this name are unknown, perhaps a supplier contracted to carry out the shortening process, or distributor, or even a military outfitter in Munster.

The so called engineers or Pioneers dress bayonet is difficult to find, while finding an etched example is almost impossible.
