WW1 R.F.C Thickness Gauge

Issued to Royal Flying Corps engineers, this rare tool was used to measure the thickness of sheet metals in workshops on the Western Front throughout the Great War. Marked with a 1915 date and the MOD crows foot on one side, and "Sheffield" to the other this is a rare survivor and worthy of inclusion in any collection.
