Third Reich Police Bayonet

Plating to the non maker marked blade is in excellent condition, having only minor signs of age and one small nic to the leading edge. Most of the finish to the brass based eagle head pommel, backstrap and crossguard has gone to time. Stag grips in good condition with domed rivets and a correctly attached police emblem. Black leather scabbard in good condition with one small crease line to the obverse. The number “7” appears on the top scabbard mount, this number being repeated on the crossguard. Black leather frog in excellent condition with no damage to the lug hole and no loss of finish or stitching. Good piece for the budget conscious.
