Instituted in January 1938, this award was in recognition of loyal civilian service. This late war, 2nd class cross for 25 years service, designed by professor Richard Klein, is in average condition having lost most of the finish to both obverse and reverse, but retaining a good level of detail to the oak leaves and "Fur Treue Dienste" dedication. WW2 Field produced Soldering Tool
This fascinating item appears to be a field produced soldering or braising tool, consisting of a wad filled copper tube set inside a 1942 dated 20mm cannon shell case.
