THIRD REICH Wehrmacht shooting Target

Approximately 13 inches in diameter this beautiful piece has a painting of an "Auerhann" or Ptarmigan as the central target, upon which are painted the shooters names and location of their winning shots in the Officers shooting competition which took place in April 1943. Third Reich Hunting Association Paperwork

A particularly interesting set of papers coming from a German hunter. Consisting of a rule book and shooting calendar for the season 1921, a shooting permit and identity card for 1941, two animal "targets" dated 1936 and 1937 and two photographs of the same gentleman with the spoils of his hunt, an enormous wild boar. "Service Times" Labels

These rare labels were used on a number of wartime "souvenir" items such as flasks, walking sticks etc and sold to raise party funds. These five circular labels are approximately .75 inches in diameter having coloured depictions of field pieces, biplanes etc. surrounded by the "Zur Erinnerung An Meine Dienstzeit" service time remembrance. Circular enamelled badge by the London manufacturer "Gaunt" and stamped as such to the reverse. Also to the rear is the raised inscription "Registration Applied For" being the equivalent of the German stamping "Ges Gesh." Third Reich Portepee For The Forestry Dagger

Textured alluminium strapping with pair of green stripes running the length. The slide is green and bullion braid and the stem is a bullion over metal. The oval bullion ball has a "cat's anus" stuffing of green thread.
A fine, original portepee here, ready to complete your cutlass, having a very small area of wear to the strapping caused by prolonged attachment to a sidearm.  read more

Teardrop Sword Hanger

An excellent hanger, almost 8 inches in length, which still retains a protective green felt to the reverse. Heavy gauge brown leather has a decorative line pressed into its periphery. Upper fold with nickel "boss" and box clip. Push-in nickel Spring clip is in perfect condition and is sewn into the lower half of the teardrop. Third Reich Cavalry Sword/Degen Hanger

This leather teardrop shaped hanger is some 10x5 inches overall and has a blue/grey felt backing. The upper end has a pebbled alluminium "D" ring stitched into a second piece of leather folded over the upper edge, whilst at the lower end a pebbled alluminium sprung push clip has been similarly suspended. Third Reich Luftwaffe Sword Hanger

An excellent example of this hard to find hanger in excellent condition. Blue leather is unmarked and with perfect stitching, a little stiff from age and would benefit from "feeding". Upper Nickel, sewn-In suspension clip in perfect working order, as is the lower pebbled Spring clip. Majority of the light blue protective felt remains to the reverse of the teardrop.
