Leather on the short hanger is in good condition showing some age wear and cracking. The plated snap clip is marked "RZM M5/71". Matching leather belt loop is riveted at the lower end to retain a magnetic steel "D" ring.

What is believed to be an American knot (if you know differently, please let us know!) consisting of a ten inch thin cord of alternating gold and black or very dark blue, gold and black (blue) stem and gold acorn and cap. Base is inset with black velvet.

A First War British National War Savings Committee lapel badge. Bronze gilt with red and black enamels, maker marked "THOMAS FATTORINI BIRMINGHAM Ltd" on the reverse, 29.2mm in diameter, and with an unreadable reg. number stamped into the lapel support. Excellent detail with very minor imperfections to black enamel.

Third Reich Luftwaffe sword Leather Hanger/Belt Loop

A very unusual adjustable tear drop hanger, which incorporates an aluminium pebbled "D" ring on a wide leather belt loop. Lower push in clip is also pebbled alluminium and functions perfectly. This type of hanger was worn extensively with the early first model Luftwaffe flyers dagger, but today is a rare survivor.
