Cavalry version of the black leather K98 frog having a grip retaining strap inserted horizontally to the upper area. Excellent overall condition, of four rivet construction with three perpendicular lines of stitching. No damage to the scabbard lug locating hole. One small hole to the upper reverse belt loop area where the bayonet was once hung on a wall. read more

"Stag" Gripped Parade Bayonet
This interesting bayonet appears to have imitation, probably wooden, grip plates, secured by rivets, one of which is very slightly loose. Pommel backstrap and crossguard retain most of their finish, pommel showing some signs of use a hammer.
