Infantry Assault Badge Stickpin Bronze

This beautiful very small stickpin is in the shape of a Combat Infantry Badge. The detail is outstanding throughout, showing the open wreath with Wehrmacht Eagle and swastika at the top, and K98 rifle with bayonet and sling positioned at a 45-degree angle across the wreath. Ww2 German Battalion Marked Schnapps Cup

A most unusual piece being marked to a corps rather than an individual, and would presumably have been used in an officers mess, forming part of the silverware for the battalion.
Markings are "Uffz.-Korps Fla.Rak. Btl.22"
To the base is a makers mark of the letters WMF within a stylised square.
A fascinating piece of history worthy of further research.  read more

Nice cup having the usual crown,moon and 800 stamp to the base, plus a makers mark, being Eichler, Berlin. Beautiful engraving and initials to the front, along with the date "1937" super undented condition. Another fine cup, having numerous marks to the base including 800,crown, moon and makers mark. Beautifully engraved with the letters WZ above the date 1921. Beautiful engraving on this cup, which could be the intertwined initials "EL".
Stamped to the base with the 800 mark. The 800 mark on silver refers to the purity of the metal. Pure silver has a 1,000 grade value. Silver with an 800 grade value is a silver alloy containing 800 parts silver and 200 parts other metals.  read more
