Although only distributor marked, this bayonet is clearly a product of the E Pack company, having the offset nuts and bolts handling the grip plates which are typical of this producer. Bright undamaged blade is stamped “ Gustav Klemme” to the obverse ricasso.

Working release button, waffenampt marking to upper pommel reverse. Bakelite grip plates correctly attached. Blade has full bluing other than a small area near the tip. Blade marked “9023”to ricasso with matching number to upper scabbard. Blade reverse marked “42CRS” . Quality, 4 rivet construction frog has no loss of stitching but some loss of finish.  read more

An interesting long bayonet which at some point in the past has been fitted with a red lined, black “sock” to cover the scabbard.
