A fine set of “Bahnschütz” Officer ( in the grade of Oberzugführer and above) dagger hangers.
Plain upper box clip, oak leaf decorated buckles and slides, pebbled “push-in” lower fittings. Straps have silver tress fronts with twin black lines, backings are deep purple/ black plush velvet. Buckle holes in the straps have a metal reinforcement ring.

Third Reich Water Protection Police Dagger Hangers
Two versions of hanger are associated with the WPP dagger, the earlier version with black moiré straps similar to Kreigsmarine hangers, and the later version illustrated here.
