The Princess Mary Gift Fund box is an embossed brass box that originally contained a variety of items such as tobacco and chocolate. It was intended as a Christmas present to those serving at Christmas in 1914 and was paid for by a public fund backed by Princess Mary.

Black Leather Dagger/Sword Hanger

A hanger of the type which fixes over a button or button attachment and is some five inches in overall length. The one piece teardrop leather has a buttonhole to the upper area, whilst a pebbled push in clip is fixed through the leather and secured by a large nickle rivet. Leather retains a gloss finish and is in fine used condition being still flexible and unfaded.

Believed to be Infantry Waffebfarb Schwalbenester, possibly for a major drummer, this matched pair of boards are in excellent condition, having bright diamond pattern to the brocade and undamaged silvered aluminium hanging tresse fringe. Reverse cotton type cloth backing somewhat grubby and faded with age, and complete with 5 bright metal retaining hooks.  read more
