Third Reich Army Dagger-Voos
The 'Burnt Amber' grip on this Emil Voos dagger is particularly attractive, having the thinner segment arrangement that has developed a two-tone appearance with age. Pommel has thirteen standing acorn leaves and acorns and is well detailed. Crossguard has a very small area of damage to the reverse and has an excellent eagle depiction to the obverse. This eagle is particularly prominent, not as much as the "high lift" alcoso version, but certainly more so than the norm. Bright blade is in excellent condition having only very minor age signs but no damage to the the edges or needle sharp tip. The small Emil Voos name and mark of a snake around a tree trunk are stamped horizontally along the upper ricasso and almost hidden behind the reverse crossguard. Scabbard throat is secured by a single, side mounted screw. Scabbard is undamaged with some minor age signs in the surface and well defined pebbeling. Bands and rings are firmly attached with mild swing wear.
