Third Reich Dress Bayonet-Eickhorn
An interesting long bayonet which at some point in the past has been fitted with a red lined, black “sock” to cover the scabbard. Pommel and crossguard with some age speckling, and an operating rifle slot push button. Blade in fine condition which “rocks” a little in the grip. Highly detailed plaque some three and a half inches in diameter. The “Der Deutsche Automobil Club” (D.D.A.C.) was the only authorized automobile club in Germany during the Third Reich.
