Third Reich Kriegsmarine Officers Dagger-Eickhorn ivory grip

One of the most sought after upgrades to the navy dagger, being an ivory grip which has distinctive vertical striations to the structure predominantly to the sides. Third Reich Long Dress Bayonet-Pack distributor marked

Although only distributor marked, this bayonet is clearly a product of the E Pack company, having the offset nuts and bolts handling the grip plates which are typical of this producer. Bright undamaged blade is stamped “ Gustav Klemme” to the obverse ricasso.

Wooden grip plates, operating release button. Fine blade with most finish remaining, stamped 8102 over 1, to the obverse ricasso, and “Jos. Corts So” to the reverse. 36 date to the spine. Scabbard has throat screws to both obverse and reverse, whilst the lug is stamped G N 5205.

Third Reich Dress Bayonet-Eickhorn

An interesting long bayonet which at some point in the past has been fitted with a red lined, black “sock” to cover the scabbard. Pommel and crossguard with some age speckling, and an operating rifle slot push button. Blade in fine condition which “rocks” a little in the grip.
