A brown leather hanger which is adjustable in length by moving a domed alluminium boss in slots machined in the leather. A Spring clip is sewn and riveted into the teardrop section. Some loss of finish to the Spring clip and some period damage to the upper section of the leather.

So called "pioneer" bayonet having a rounded crossguard without finger guard. Pommel crossguard and backstrap suffering from a degree of corrosion to the metal. Fine chequered grips correctly riveted to hilt. Plain plated blade in fine condition with the usual "in and out " marks and with the Eickhorn 35-41 trademark stamped to the upper reverse Ricasso beneath the blade washer.
