Third Reich SA Short Dagger Hanger and Belt Loop

Unusual triangular brown leather belt loop which has a magnetic "D" ring both sewn and riveted into the lower loop. Leather on the hanger perfectly matches the loop, and is in good condition showing a little wear in the loop which sits inside the scabbard connector. Small leather retaining loop is present. Four rivet construction with twin lines of stitching. Excellent quality leather which remains bright and pliable. More signs of wear to the scabbard "pocket" which has some cracking to the surface finish and stretching of the scabbard lug hole. A good quality example.  read more

Patent black leather frog of single rivet construction having lines of stitching to the outer edges. In common with most frogs of this age and type the patent finish has suffered from storage problems and is cracked and faded in places. Cavalry version of the black leather K98 frog having a grip retaining strap inserted horizontally to the upper area. Excellent overall condition, of four rivet construction with three perpendicular lines of stitching. No damage to the scabbard lug locating hole. One small hole to the upper reverse belt loop area where the bayonet was once hung on a wall.  read more
