This is the larger size, “grosser” knot for the sword. Leather strap with silver and red lines of stitching, some minor loss of stitching in places. Crochet style stem with silver former visible beneath. Crown and acorn tightly wrapped, acorn with springy wire red and white infill.  read more

Third Reich Clamshell Dagger Hanger

Most often found with police and customs clamshell bayonets, these hangers are also seen with forestry/hunting daggers, and are a rare accoutrement. Teardrop black leather backing is folded at the top to enclose a “D” ring in an adjustable belt loop. Transverse leather grip strap is complete with stud. Lower half of teardrop has a large, leather covered suspension loop sewn in.  read more

Late war “celon” portepee which was discovered in an outfitters shop in Bremen and is in its original tie. Never issued or worn on a dagger and in mint condition having the typical “cats anus” infill to the acorn.  read more
