Superb example having no damage to the black leather which is ink stamped ‘Technische Nothilfe’, twice, to the reverse, with the owners name hand written in ink. This original TENO dagger has the lowest issue number we have ever seen on these massive and magnificent pieces, being 0453, stamped into the upper scabbard throat and the obverse ricasso. Only the earliest pieces had stamped numbers, later produced examples were etched in these locations.
