Nicely detailed eagle head pommel and backstrap with some loss of finish and signs of misuse as a hammer. This is the style without the rifle slot and mortice button. These lightweight bayonets were identical to those worn by police units with the exception of the absence of an insignia on the grip. Eagle head pommel has nice details to the neck feathering with some loss of finish and signs of use as a hammer during the period.
